Kristina Shannon

Born on October 2, 1989, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Kristina Shannon first gained public attention in 2008 when she and her twin sister Karissa Shannon moved into the Playboy Mansion as girlfriends of Hugh Hefner. The pair joined the cast of the reality series The Girls Next Door alongside Crystal Harris, giving them mainstream television exposure before their modeling careers had fully taken shape.

Playboy and Early Career

Kristina was named Playboy's Miss August 2009, while Karissa received the Miss July designation. The sisters shared a single centerfold in a combined summer issue, a distinction from previous twin Playmates who had been featured separately. Kristina also appeared as Playboy Slovakia's Playmate of the Month in December 2009. At the time of their Playboy appearance, both sisters had natural B-cup breasts.

By January 2010, Kristina and Karissa had moved out of the mansion following a breakup with Hefner and relocated to the Playmate House. A planned spinoff series titled The Girls Next Door: The Bunny House was scrapped after Hefner discovered the twins had boyfriends, and they were asked to leave.

Television and Acting

The Shannon twins' first acting credit was a small role in Sofia Coppola's 2010 film Somewhere. In 2012, they appeared as contestants on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK, finishing fifth. Most of Kristina's on-screen work has been alongside Karissa.

Plastic Surgery and Botched

Following their Playboy tenure, the twins underwent several extensive cosmetic procedures, including breast augmentations and rhinoplasty. Some of these surgeries were unsuccessful, and the results left the formerly identical twins looking noticeably different from each other. In 2015, they appeared on the E! series Botched seeking corrective work. They have since stated they have 750cc silicone implants, though their current profile notes the implants have been removed.

Transition to Adult Film

In December 2018, Kristina and Karissa announced they had signed with Brazzers to perform in hardcore pornography, including scenes together. The twins described their approach to the content as "tastefully done." Kristina's recorded performances span solo, lesbian softcore, and boy/girl categories. She has been active in the industry since approximately 2011, giving her roughly 14 years in front of the camera.

Standing 5'10" with blonde hair and blue eyes, Kristina is among the tall models in the adult space. She has a navel piercing and tattoos including a design on her tailbone and a "Follower of Christ" script on her left ribs.
