Growing up in Tacoma, Washington, with a mother who worked as an exotic dancer and adult film producer, Kimberly Kane had an unusually direct path into the industry she would eventually help shape. Born on August 28, 1983, she moved to Portland, Oregon, at 13 and later worked as a dancer at a Portland strip club before a stint in Las Vegas playing tambourine and singing backup for a cover band called Skull Rose. She relocated to Los Angeles in 2004, though her first adult scene was filmed in August 2003 for the production Troubled Teens.

Career Timeline and Studio Work

Kimberly built a filmography exceeding 400 titles over a career spanning more than two decades. She has worked with a wide range of studios, including Vivid Entertainment and its Vivid-Alt division, Evil Angel, Digital Playground, Penthouse, Hustler, Reality Kings, Brazzers, and New Sensations. By 2006, just three years into performing, she moved behind the camera as a director, with Naked & Famous serving as her directorial debut.
