Vida Guerra

Born in Havana, Cuba on March 19, 1974, Vida Guerra migrated to the United States as a child, growing up in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She began entering fashion shows and modeling swimwear at a young age, with her professional career stretching back to approximately 1995, giving her roughly three decades in the industry.

Rise to National Attention

Vida's breakthrough came with a lingerie spread in FHM's December 2002 issue. The response was significant enough that the magazine reported nearly a third of its reader mail afterward requested more of her. She returned for additional shoots and was named FHM's Model of the Year in 2004. Over the following years she appeared on the covers of DUB, Smooth, Escape, and Open Your Eyes, among other publications. FHM also recognized her twice with its Best Butt Award, and she placed on the magazine's Top 100 Sexiest Females list in both 2005 and 2017.

Television and Music Video Work

Throughout the 2000s, Vida became a familiar face in music videos, appearing alongside major artists. Her credits include Nelly, P. Diddy, and Murphy Lee's "Shake Ya Tailfeather" (2003), Kanye West's "The New Workout Plan" (2004), and Frankie J's "Obsession (No Es Amor)" (2005). She also appeared on Spanish-language television programs such as El Gordo y la Flaca and in sketches on Chappelle's Show. Her acting credits include National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2, and she hosted the car culture series Livin' the Low Life.

Playboy and Solo Projects

In July 2006, Vida posed for Playboy in what became her first formal nude editorial. She stated part of her motivation was a 2005 incident in which her camera phone was allegedly hacked and manipulated images circulated online. That same year she released the DVD Vida Guerra: Exposed and produced her own swimsuit calendars with accompanying behind-the-scenes footage. She also ventured into music, with the single "You Got Me" from a planned debut album surfacing in November 2006.

Current Career

Standing 5'3" with brown hair and brown eyes, Vida carries measurements of 34D-25-37 and has one notable tattoo of a devil character on her right abdomen. She identifies as Latina and Cuban-American. Now 51, she remains active as a glamour model, content creator, and influencer, maintaining a presence on major social platforms and an adult content subscription page. Her career spans from mid-1990s print and video work through the digital creator economy, a transition relatively few models of her generation have made. She is also a longtime vegetarian and appeared nude in a 2011 PETA campaign promoting plant-based living.
