Born on Valentine's Day 1994 in Lincoln, Nebraska, Val Dodds entered the adult industry in 2013 under the name Val Midwest, building an initial following through her self-run website. Her path to wider recognition, however, came through circumstances that few performers share.

The Pius X Incident

On Mother's Day 2013, Val returned to her former high school, Pius X Catholic High School in Lincoln, and posed nude on campus wearing only a crucifix. The photos and video were posted to her website. Lincoln Police issued her a citation for public nudity and trespassing. In a widely reported follow-up, she returned to the campus and was photographed wearing pasties and a thong while holding up the citation, technically complying with Lincoln's public nudity ordinance. She was ultimately convicted and sentenced to 45 days in jail, serving 15 days for public nudity and 30 consecutive days for trespassing. She served the full sentence after abandoning her appeals. The media coverage surrounding the incident significantly raised her public profile and helped propel her into a broader adult industry career.

Career and Industry Recognition

Val attended Pius X before transferring to Lincoln East High School, where she graduated. She has several siblings, including a younger brother. Standing 5'11" with brown hair and hazel eyes, she fits among tall models in the industry. Her measurements are 34C-24-32, and she has natural breasts, navel and nipple piercings, and no tattoos.

Her work expanded from solo and webcam content on her original site to include girl-girl and boy-girl scenes. She was named a 2016 Hustler Honey and received an AVN nomination for Hottest Newcomer that same year. In 2017, she earned an AVN nomination in the Best All-Girl category.
