Born in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 24, 1998, Tana Mongeau entered the public eye in 2015 as a teenager uploading videos to YouTube. Over the past decade, she has built a career that spans content creation, music, podcasting, reality television, and adult content.

Early Career and YouTube

Mongeau first gained traction through her "storytime" videos, a format that became closely associated with her channel. By early 2017, she had accumulated a sizable audience. That same year, she faced a notable incident when someone hacked her email accounts and sent threats to McCarran International Airport, prompting an FBI investigation.

Music and TanaCon

In November 2017, Tana released her debut single "Hefner," with a music video featuring Bella Thorne. She followed it with collaborations and additional singles, including "W" in March 2018 and "Fuck Up" in August 2018.

In June 2018, she organized TanaCon in Anaheim, California, intended as a large-scale fan convention. The event drew widespread criticism for poor planning, with attendees reporting lack of food and water, long waits in extreme heat, and general disorganization. Comparisons to Fyre Festival circulated widely. Mongeau later apologized and offered refunds.

Television and Business Ventures

In 2019, MTV aired her reality series "MTV No Filter: Tana Turns 21." That same year saw one of her most publicized personal events, a Las Vegas ceremony with YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul. The two had begun dating in April 2019 and became engaged within two months. The July 2019 ceremony, available on pay-per-view, was later revealed to lack a valid marriage license, and the officiant was not licensed by the state of Nevada. Mongeau herself described it as something done "for fun and for content." They announced their breakup in January 2020.

In January 2022, she launched Dizzy Wine, her own wine brand.
