Skye Dolecki

Skye Blue

Born on October 2, 1999, in Chicago, Illinois, Skye Blue is an American professional wrestler of Polish descent who has been active since 2017, beginning her career at roughly 18 years old. She works under the ring name Skye Blue, though her legal name is Skylar Dolecki.

Early Career and Independent Circuit

Skye started on the independent wrestling scene in the Chicago area, competing for promotions such as AAW: Professional Wrestling Redefined, Chicago Style Wrestling, Warrior Wrestling, and Global Professional Wrestling. She accumulated several championship wins during this period, including the AAW Women's Championship, the CSW Women's Championship, and the Warrior Wrestling Women's Championship. She also held the ZERO1 USA Women's Championship and appeared in Ohio Valley Wrestling and the National Wrestling Alliance.

All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor

Skye made her AEW debut on the April 7, 2021, episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, losing to Britt Baker. Over the following months, she appeared across AEW programming, including Dark, Rampage, and Dynamite, typically in losing efforts against established names like Red Velvet, Jade Cargill, and Serena Deeb. She competed in the Casino Battle Royale at All Out 2021, marking her first pay-per-view appearance.

In January 2023, she challenged Jade Cargill for the AEW TBS Championship at Battle of the Belts V. Her Ring of Honor debut followed in March 2023. By April 2023, Skye signed a full-time contract with AEW. She earned a shot at the AEW Women's World Championship in June 2023 after winning a four-way match, though she was unsuccessful in her title challenge against Toni Storm.

Character Evolution

A notable storyline shift occurred in September 2023 when Julia Hart sprayed black mist into Skye's eyes, triggering a gradual character change. By December 2023, Skye turned heel for the first time, aligning with Hart and adopting a more aggressive in-ring style. In May 2024, she challenged Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship without success. Her 2024 was cut short in July when she suffered a broken ankle during a match against Hikaru Shida.

Personal Life

Skye stands 5 feet 2 inches tall, has brown hair and brown eyes, and carries tattoos on her right leg and left arm. She previously dated fellow AEW wrestler Dante Martin. As of early 2024, she is in a relationship with AEW and ROH wrestler Kyle Fletcher.
