Raquel Pomplun

Born on October 24, 1987, in San Diego, California, Raquel Pomplun grew up between Southern California and Tijuana, Mexico, before settling in Chula Vista at age 12. Of Mexican-American descent with Germanic and Spanish roots, she studied biochemistry at Southwestern College before a part-time modeling decision redirected the course of her career.

Entry into Playboy

Raquel's path to Playboy began in 2012 when she submitted photos to a casting call at the encouragement of coworkers. Within two weeks, she was invited for a test shoot and subsequently named Playmate of the Month for April 2012, appearing on the cover of the Sex and Music issue.
