Early Career and Training

Ninel studied at the Centro de Arte y Teatro Emilia Carranza and attended workshops led by Sergio Jiménez and René Pereira. Her television career began almost immediately, with roles on Televisa productions including Bajo el Mismo Rostro (1995) and Luz Clarita (1996). She moved to TV Azteca for Catalina y Sebastián (1999) and Como en el cine (2001). Her work on Catalina y Sebastián earned her the Sol de Oro award for Best New Actress.

Ninel appeared in the film Mujeres Frente al Espejo alongside Silvia Pasquel, Gabriela Goldsmith, and Isaura Espinoza, directed by Sergio Jiménez. That role brought her a Palmas de Oro award.
