Ninel Conde

A career spanning three decades places Ninel Conde among the more established figures in Mexican entertainment. Born on September 29, 1976, in Toluca, Mexico State, she first entered the public eye in 1995 after winning the title of Señorita Estado de Mexico.

Early Career and Training

Ninel studied at the Centro de Arte y Teatro Emilia Carranza and attended workshops led by Sergio Jiménez and René Pereira. Her television career began almost immediately, with roles on Televisa productions including Bajo el Mismo Rostro (1995) and Luz Clarita (1996). She moved to TV Azteca for Catalina y Sebastián (1999) and Como en el cine (2001). Her work on Catalina y Sebastián earned her the Sol de Oro award for Best New Actress.

Television and Film

Ninel appeared in the film Mujeres Frente al Espejo alongside Silvia Pasquel, Gabriela Goldsmith, and Isaura Espinoza, directed by Sergio Jiménez. That role brought her a Palmas de Oro award. She has also appeared on numerous variety and talk shows including Al Derecho y Al Derbez, Lo Que Callamos Las Mujeres, and El Gordo y La Flaca.

Her visibility increased substantially in 2004 through participation in Big Brother VIP, where she lasted 43 days. That same year she was cast in Rebelde, produced by Pedro Damián, playing Alma Rey from 2004 to 2006. The telenovela aired internationally across Latin America, Romania, Africa, and Australia. In 2006, she appeared on the American series Ugly Betty, portraying an actress on a fictional telenovela watched by the main character's family.

Music

In 2003, Ninel released her self-titled debut album, which included the single "Callados," a duet with then-boyfriend Jose Manuel Figueroa. The album featured songs written by Joan Sebastian, Fato, Roberto Libi, and Kiko Campos.

Throughout her career, Ninel has posed for Mexican and Latin American editions of publications including H, Maxim, and Playboy. As a Mexican model and brunette, she has more recently maintained a presence on content platforms. Personal Life

Ninel has a daughter, Sofia, from a previous relationship. She married businessman Juan Cepeda in Acapulco in December 2007; they separated in 2013. She has a son, Emmanuel, born in October 2014 with Giovanni Medina. Her third marriage, to Larry Ramos, took place in October 2020. Ninel has been active in the industry since 1995, making her career now over 30 years long.
