Before entering adult entertainment, Nikki Phoenix spent six years working as a veterinary technician in Seattle, Washington. Born on May 7, 1987, she began her transition into modeling in 2010 following a significant personal transformation that included losing over 120 pounds. Her adult film career started in 2011, with her first scene appearing in Thrilla in Vanilla 8. She was active in the industry through 2020, a span of roughly nine years.

Phoenix released her first EDM single, "My Addiction," with DJ Nilsson in January 2014. Her album "Ballroom Zombies" followed in September 2014 across digital platforms. Her track "Your Smile" received radio rotation in Canada, the US, and Europe. She headlined the Las Vegas Hempfest in October 2015, incorporating aerialist and cirque elements into her stage performance. In January 2016, she headlined a show at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and later collaborated with house music pioneer Chip E.
