Early Career and Family Roots

Melissa's father, Doug Anderson, wrestled professionally in the early 1980s, and his career served as her entry point into the business. While still a student at Palmdale High School, where she competed in soccer, athletics, and amateur wrestling, she began traveling to San Bernardino to train under Billy Anderson, her father's former tag team partner.
