Few figures in British tabloid culture have maintained as long a presence as Katie Price. Born on May 22, 1978, in Brighton, East Sussex, she first entered the public eye in 1996 when she began appearing on Page 3 of The Sun under the name Jordan. Now approaching three decades in the spotlight, her career has spanned glamour modeling, television, publishing, music, and business.

Early Career and Modeling

Price's modeling career started after a friend encouraged her to take professional photos, which led to representation by a London agency. Her Page 3 work as Jordan quickly made her one of the most recognized glamour models in the UK. She appeared across numerous international editions of Playboy, including a feature in the September 2002 US edition, and was named Playboy Greece's Playmate of the Month in November 2002. She also appeared in multiple volumes of Playboy's Book of Lingerie between 1997 and 1999, and graced covers of FHM, Maxim, and Front magazine.

Television and Media

Her transition into television began with auditions and guest hosting spots in the late 1990s. The pivotal moment came in 2004 when she joined the cast of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, where she met singer Peter Andre. This appearance launched a series of reality programs, including Jordan (2002 to 2005), Katie & Peter (2004 to 2009), and Katie Price: My Crazy Life (2017 to 2020).
