Before entering the adult industry, Farrah Abraham had already become a widely recognized figure through reality television. Born on May 31, 1991, in Omaha, Nebraska, and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa, she first appeared on screen in 2008 as a cast member of the MTV series 16 and Pregnant. She was 17 at the time of filming. During production, the father of her child, Derek Underwood, died in a car accident. Farrah gave birth to her daughter, Sophia Laurent Abraham, on February 23, 2009.
