Alexis Texas

Born on May 25, 1985, at a military base in the Panama Canal Zone, Alexis Texas entered the adult industry in late 2006 with a scene filmed for Shane's World's College Amateur Tour. Shortly after, she shot scenes for Bang Bros in Florida before relocating to Los Angeles in early 2007 to work with LA Direct Models. Her early career moved quickly: performer-turned-director Belladonna helmed Discovering Alexis Texas, released in February 2008, and later that year Alexis took home the NightMoves Award for Best New Starlet.

Industry Standing and Studio Work

By 2009, Alexis had established enough of a profile to launch her own company, Alexis Texas Entertainment, as a subsidiary of Starlet Entertainment Group. Her official website earned an XBIZ Award for Performer Site of the Year. That same year, Genesis magazine and Hustler both featured her on their covers, the latter on its 35th anniversary edition. In 2010, Maxim listed her among the top twelve female performers in the industry, and she appeared in the film Bikini Frankenstein in a credited acting role. By 2012, her catalog had grown to over 400 titles, and she signed a one-year exclusive contract with Adam and Eve.

Mainstream Credits and Directing Career

Her move into mainstream film came in 2011 with a lead role in the comedy horror production Bloodlust Zombies. She also appeared in archival footage used in the 2013 Joseph Gordon-Levitt romantic comedy Don Jon, and was one of sixteen performers featured in Deborah Anderson's documentary Aroused that same year, which received coverage from The Hollywood Reporter and the Los Angeles Times.

In June 2015, Elegant Angel signed Alexis to an exclusive directing contract. Her debut behind the camera, Big Booty Tryouts, was released the following month and also marked her return to performing after a near two-year break. The film featured Abella Danger, Dani Daniels, AJ Applegate, Keisha Grey, and Anikka Albrite. She co-hosted the 2015 AVN Awards and signed an exclusive acting deal with Elegant Angel in 2016. Her 2019 Elegant Angel directing credit, Alexis Texas: Lesbian House Party, featured Kleio Valentien and Zoey Monroe among its cast.

Later Career

Alexis stepped back from filming new adult content for approximately four years around 2016 to 2020, during which she focused on other ventures including her podcast, Private Talk With Alexis Texas. She returned to production in 2023, filming a scene with performer Dredd. She appears on the Big Ass Models and Blonde Models lists, and with Natural Boobs noted across her profile. As of 2026, she remains active across content platforms and continues her podcast.
